A big thank you from the Village Shop to all customers who struggled through the snow and took home shopping for their neighbours, especially in the surrounding villages.  It was lovely to have the shop so full of customers.  We hope we managed to supply everybody.  Our suppliers were very good and all got to us, although some got stuck and needed help to get out of the village.  Special thanks to whoever spent an hour digging out one of the white vans!

The Christmas raffle was a success, and we gave £50 to church funds and £50 to the Jan Weller pre school.

The shop window is available if you would like to come and book a date to advertise your business or charity.

We expect by now most of you know the shop is for sale.  We are both having health problems and would like to move back near our children in Bedfordshire.  A sad decision, as we love it in Stanton!
